Scarce manual for the British commercial agent or businessman in the conduct of international trade business, and as such, presumably one of the earliest "business textbooks" as distinct from treatises on economic theory or philosophy. This binding by its design appearance and by the Ciudad ownership label at front pastedown is South American. Embossed cloth on front cover has a 3" tear, binding remains firm, leaves toned, yet unmarked. Uncommon.
